Life imprisonment without parole for sexual offences against children

That the House of Representatives amend the law to require anyone convicted of a sexual offence against a child to receive life imprisonment without the possibility of parole.

Children are our future. I believe that when a child is harmed, the damage can last not only a lifetime but can echo across generations. I think that Parliament must change the law so that anyone convicted of a sexual offence against a child would receive life imprisonment without the possibly of parole. In my view, a child's safety should never depend on the hope that a sexual offender will change, and protecting children must come first!
