Accountability for political misinformation and disinformation

That the House of Representatives pass legislation establishing a publicly selected non-government panel that could investigate allegations of political misinformation and disinformation.

I believe transparency and accountability are essential for a democratic multi-cultural nation’s wellbeing and successful future. I think people found guilty of political misinformation and disinformation should face three strikes: a recorded public reprimand, a fine, and dismissal. In my view, people get suspicious about occurrences behind closed doors, and I feel that opening the door to transparency will bring forth a nation of content, informed citizens who will thrive for success together.
