Penalise the use of misinformation by politicians and political parties

That the House of Representatives create a law that penalises politicians and political parties that use or spread misinformation.

I propose that the law would have a three strike system for MPs who use or spread misinformation, starting with penalties of 15 grand, 25 grand and 50 grand and on the third strike the MP would be disbarred from parliament. For political parties, I propose penalties of 30 grand, 80 grand, and then 150 grand.
